Our Aproach

Nature and Nutrition
YURA FUND envisions programming that offers children opportunities to spend time in natural settings, learn to grow vegetables, prepare meals, and explore the connection between food, mood, and resilience.

Animal Assisted Healing
Gentle, structured interactions with animals such as horses, dogs, and chickens are envisioned to foster emotional safety, connection, and non-verbal trust.

Resilience and Emotional Skills
We are developing pilot programs that will be guided by trained mentors and trauma-informed staff to support the development of essential skills such as emotional awareness, self-regulation, and problem-solving. Activities may include group storytelling, mindfulness practices, and structured play, with the goal of fostering confidence, connection, and hope.
